Meadowsweet’s Body Salt Scrubs are a wonderful combination of natural, uniodized, sun dried Sea Salt, natural oils which include various pure essential essences and Soy, Jojoba and Wheatgerm base oils. Our unique scrub formulations will exfoliate and feed your skin at the same time, leaving it beautifully smooth and moisturised.

This Meadowsweet Body Salt Scrub purifies by artfully combining Fennel and Grapefruit pure essential oils with natural Sea salt. Traditionally, Fennel has been used for digestion, menopause, obesity and as a diuretic whilst Grapefruit oil has been used as a tonic and also to detox. It is believed that these two oils make for a wonderful combination to purify the body. The oils encourage joy, generosity and spontaneity. After exfoliating with this scrub which includes Calendula flower petals, apply one of the Meadowsweet Body Butters for maximum moisture or a lighter Body Lotion.

Nourishing Vitamin E:

The only Meadowsweet Body Salt Scrub suitable for pregnant women is also recommended for super-sensitive and ultra dry skin. Its gentle exfoliating and super hydration properties can be attributed in part to the Sunflower oil that is used to make it. Not only is it rich in vitamin E, Sunflower oil has also traditionally been used to retain moisture in the skin. It said to provide a protective barrier that resists infection in pre-term infants. Vitamin E has also been shown to play a role in immune function, in DNA repair and in metabolic processes.
